While our team has a proven track record of success in negotiations and courtroom proceedings, they’re also lifelong learners who remain abreast of the latest developments in areas related to your case. When you come to Michael G. Friedman, ESQ., P.A., expect to hit the ground running with somebody who’s already a step ahead of the game.
Mike has been working in the legal field for over 30 years, first as a paralegal in New York City, then with a medium-size firm in New Jersey before moving his practice and residence to Maine in 2001. Mike brings to every challenge this experience to handle a variety of legal matters including complex commercial and residential real estate transactions, civil litigation, wills and estate administration and general corporate counsel. Mike appears in a multitude of tribunals in the State of Maine including the District Courts, Probate Courts, Superior Courts, Supreme Court, municipal land use boards and local boards of selectmen.
Mike brought his family to Maine to partake in all things outdoors that Maine has to offer. You can often catch Mike and his family on the local ski slopes but more likely dogsledding on nearby snowy trails. Mike has been an organizer for the Bridgton Musher’s Bowl sled dog races for over a decade and has run sled dogs recreationally in the hills and mountains of Western Maine for nearly as long. Mike lives in Lovell with his wife Patty, daughters Bailey and Laura and a backyard full of huskies.
Heidi joined the team in July 2015, and brought with her nearly ten years of experience as a legal assistant, including real estate, civil litigation, estate planning, probate and family matters. She assists this office in all areas of law that we practice, with a focus on civil litigation, estate planning and probate. Heidi lives in Hiram, Maine with her husband, son and their French bulldog. She enjoys 4-wheeling, biking and watching football with her family, although truth be told, she is a Giants fan!

Tammy joined the team in August of 2008, with an Associate’s Degree from Andover College in Business Administration. She also worked at Hancock Lumber for more than 15 years on several management teams and as an executive assistant. Being a true native of Maine, Tammy was born and raised in Bridgton, and lives in Harrison with her husband, Ernie and their daughter, Britta and a yellow lab named Daisy. Tammy has also been a volunteer or race director for the Harrison Recreation Department’s annual road race for several years. When she’s not at work, you can find her listening to her talented husband and daughter musicians singing and playing guitar - or enjoying the great outdoors with friends and family, boating on Long Lake, or off on an adventure hiking, biking, skiing or snowmobiling somewhere in beautiful New England.
